Midland College will host Jan Edvin Christian Gustafsson as he presents "La lectura y la literatura para niños." (Reading and Literature for Children), Wednesday, April 10 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Cogdell Learning Center.

Jan Edvin Christian Gustafsson is an associate professor of Spanish Language and Culture at the University of Copenhagen, which was founded in 1479 and is the second-oldest university in Scandinavia. He has over 60 publications including three novels, four translations of well-known Latin American/Spanish authors into Danish, and a book of short essays and photographs. His areas of research include Latin American culture, literature, political culture, and Latino communities within the United States.
