The BAS program is designed to provide a career ladder for those who have completed an associate degree and wish to continue their education at the bachelor's level. Students will be prepared to assume first-line supervisory positions in business organizations of every type. Students will also be on a career track to higher levels of management as your experience grows in applying the concepts and techniques learned at Midland College.

Graduates will have tools to succeed in positions such as technical project managers, new business entrepreneurs, customer service managers, and the undertaking of other roles in small to mid-size companies requiring a cross-functional understanding of business operations in a complex and challenging global economy.

The BAS for Organizational Management emphasizes the development of leadership and management skills with the goal of assisting students who seek advancement in their current field or transition into leadership positions.

This program develops leaders who can identify opportunities, demonstrate the ability to embrace change, take the initiative to apply new technologies and the courage to empower others in the enterprise to achieve greater positive results.

Graduates are educated in the fundamentals of business management, finance, information technology, and manufacturing. The curriculum provides a broad training experience through general education courses in a variety of disciplines, core program courses in technology management, elective courses with specialization options and specialized projects and seminars that provide a window into the real world.

  • Upper division organizational management course work focuses student’s perspective of business operations, decision-making and requires an understanding of different facets of an enterprise operation.
