Kinesiology is the study of human movement, and it plays a vitally important role in the lives of everyone.
The Kinesiology Department at Midland College is devoted to studying the history of
the field, current trends, and what the future may hold for students. All courses
offered seek to engage students in thought-provoking lecture as well as hands on experience
related to course content. As a kinesiology major, you will learn to live a healthier
and higher quality of life.

Apply for General Scholarships through the Financial Aid Portal
FAFSA Requirement
The student's FAFSA application must be on file with MC Financial Aid to access the Financial Aid Portal and apply for scholarships.
If the student's FAFSA application is not on file with MC Financial Aid, the student
needs to complete the FAFSA application, and once processed, will have access to complete
the general scholarship application.

- Complete current year FAFSA or TASFA applications
- Register for 6+ credit hours towards a degree or certification
- Minimum GPA of 2.50 or higher each semester

MIDLAND COLLEGE/SUL ROSS STATE UNIVERSITY PROGRAM
Want to earn a Bachelor's Degree while staying right here at MC?
The Sul Ross @ MC Distance Program allows students to complete 11 different Baccalaureate degrees from Sul Ross State University while staying on the Midland College campus. Transfer up to 90 hours of lower level coursework directly into your selected degree plan. Advanced courses are presented via interactive televised lectures or web-based classes given by Sul Ross faculty, with labs being taught by Midland College faculty.
Transfer
Midland College has articulation agreements with a variety of schools and programs to assist our students with transferring to a university. Our curriculum maps, located in the catalog, provide a guided path for general transfer to our top five receiving institutions; however, your Pathways Advisor can assist you with a personalized plan for your specific transfer based on university and program. It is strongly recommended and encouraged that you contact your Pathways Advisor for assistance with course selection if you plan to transfer.
