The Texas Commission of Fire Protection Fire Officer I course is designed to provide firefighters with the essential knowledge and skills required to assume leadership roles within the fire service. This course is specifically tailored for individuals aspiring to become competent fire officers who can effectively manage emergency incidents, lead teams, and ensure the safety and efficiency of their personnel.
Throughout this course, participants will explore various aspects of fire service leadership, focusing on both theoretical foundations and practical applications as well as, key topics necessary for effective fire officer performance.
This course is conducted online with State Exam and Skills Test complete in-person on the last day.

The Texas Commission of Fire Protection Fire Officer II course is tailored specifically for experienced fire service professionals ready to advance their careers. The comprehensive course covers advanced management principles, fireground operations, and emergency scene management. Key topics include advanced incident command and control, tactical decision-making and resource management, fire service administration and leadership, and safety and risk management.
Upon completion, students will be prepared to take on higher leadership roles within their departments and meet the requirements for Fire Officer II certification.
This course is conducted online with the Skills Tests and State Exam and completed
in-person.

The Texas Commission of Fire Protection Fire Instructor III course is designed for season fire service educators seeking to refine their teaching techniques and leadership skills. This course delves into advanced instructional methodologies, curriculum development, and training program management. Key topics include advance instructional strategies and techniques, development and evaluation of training programs, and leadership and supervision in training environments.
Upon completion, students will be equipped to design comprehensive training programs, lead instructional teams, and mentor other fire instructors. This course prepares participants for Fire Instructor III certification, helping them to excel in the fire service training field.

This course aims to enhance and elevate the students' expertise, equipping them with essential skills to excel as Incident Commanders (ICs) in the demanding field of firefighting.
