Work Study

Work Study

The Federal Work Study (FWS) program is a need-based financial aid program that is based on information provided on the FAFSA. It provides funds that students earn through part-time employment to help pay the costs of their educational expenses.

Earn the Money

Although a FWS award may appear on your award letter, funds must be earned. Funds earned are paid directly to you in the form of a paycheck, and are not credited to your student account.
Students must be enrolled in at least six hours to participate in the Federal Work Study Program.
