An agreement between the Edward E. Whitacre, Jr. College of Engineering (WCOE) at Texas Tech University and Midland College provides a seamless transfer for engineering students transferring to Texas Tech University.
Mathematics
Bachelor of Arts Degree
The curriculum established for the Bachelor of Arts degree is designed to provide the foundation for a liberal education through a well-rounded study of the humanities and fine arts; the physical, biological, and social sciences; and mathematics. It also provides the factual basis and insights requisite for specialized study and professional work in these fields.

Transfer Scholarships
TTU Presidential Transfer Merit Scholarship
- $3,000 per year
- Minimum of 30 hours of transferrable GPA with a 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Renewable Requirements: 3.0 GPA and 12 hours earned per term

TTU Proven Achievers Scholarship
- $4,000 per year
- Minimum of 60 hours of transferrable GPA with a 3.5 cumulative GPA
- Renewable Requirements: 3.25 GPA and 12 hours earned per term

Through the Student Access and Success Partnerships articulation agreement, students have an opportunity to continue their studies in engineering and mathematics by transferring credits earned at Midland College towards bachelor degrees at Texas Tech University. |
