Skillpoint Alliance Electrical Apprenticeship Course
What is Skillpoint Alliance?
Skillpoint Alliance serves individuals residing in the Permian Basin and is dedicated to helping people escape poverty by providing hands-on training courses in the skilled trades and advance manufacturing industry, free of charge to participants.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Permian Strategic Partnership, Skillpoint Alliance Permian Basin will offer a free, four-week pre-apprenticeship electrical course that provides hands-on training and certifications. In addition to paying for students' tuition through grants, Skillpoint staff will provide additional support services such as transportation assistance, tutoring and job search assistance.
Skillpoint’s mentorship program connects students with local employers through class presentations and field trips. Many mentor employers hire students as full-time employees upon graduation.
