MHS/LHS College Day Tuesday, March 27, 2018
9:45 AM - 2:00 PM

Approximately 250 high school seniors from Midland High School and Lee High School will be on the Midland College (MC) campus for tours and specialized workshops.

 Events begin at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center at 9:45 a.m. with a welcome and MC Spirit Squad presentation.  Other day’s activities include the following:

• 10:30 a.m.  Tours of campus
• 11:30 a.m.  Hot dog lunch at Beal Plaza.  Participants will have a chance to interact with MC faculty
  
• 12:25 p.m.-2:00 p.m.  Financial Aid/Scholarship workshops, college/career pathway workshops and specialized tours to include residence halls, technology labs and F. Marie Hall SimLife Center health sciences labs.

 “We are excited to have high school seniors on our campus,” said Liz Zenteno, MC dean of Enrollment Management.  “Registration for fall classes starts April 19, so now is the time to learn more about the career/technical programs available at Midland College and the opportunities to start college at MC and then transfer to a four-year university.  We want to help make the completion of college applications, course registration and attainment of financial aid and scholarships as easy as possible!”
