Digital Accessibility Plan
Accessibility Statement
Midland College is committed to creating an accessible online experience for all students, employees, and visitors. We aim to make our digital technology accessible to individuals of all abilities and are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our digital content. Our goal is to follow best practices and recognized standards for web accessibility, including the Digital Technology Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Some courses and digital content, including third-party tools such as publisher platforms, simulations, or multimedia, may have accessibility limitations. Additionally, certain courses require visual or auditory assessments that are foundational to program competencies.
If accessibility barriers are encountered while using our website and other digital technologies, or if an alternate format is needed, please contact the Digital Transformation Office. This office will work in conjunction with other campus resources to address and accommodate your issue in a timely manner. If you are a student encountering a barrier, or if you require accommodation due to a disability, contact your instructor directly as soon as possible. Your access and success matter to us. We will work with you to find a solution.
