MC Baseball hosts Frank Phillips College Saturday, May 04, 2019

The Midland College baseball team was scheduled to play their final four WJCAC games at Frank Phillips College in Borger, TX on Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th. However the panhandle area of Texas is expecting severe storms including heavy rains and winds.

Frank Phillips College and Midland College have agreed to “flip” the schedule and play the four game series at Christensen Stadium with a Saturday doubleheader at 1:00 p.m. and a Sunday doubleheader at 12:00 p.m.

The agreement will have Midland College travel to Borger for a four-game WJCAC series in May of 2020.

If you have the opportunity to make it out on Saturday or Sunday, the weather will be around 80 on Saturday and approximately 85 on Sunday.

Midland College is currently in first place in the conference standings so this weekend’s conference games will decide which four teams will advance to the Region 5 Tournament and the seeding.
