First Friday Science Lecture: 'The State of Engineering at UTPB' Friday, February 07, 2020

The MC Math & Science Division invites students, employees and the public to the February installment of the First Friday Science Lecture Series featuring Dr. George Nnanna, dean & professor of Engineering at the University of Texas, Permian Basin (UTPB).  The Engineering program plays a significant role in educating and producing high-quality engineers and a technical workforce needed to drive the regional economy. 

Dr. Nnanna's presenation will provide an overview of the state of the UTPB College of Engineering and will offer a roadmap for actualizing the enrollment goal of 1,000 students by 2025.  Furthermore, the presentation will highlight the strategic academic and research initiatives that are being implemented to augment high-impact educational practices.

The lecture is FREE; participants may bring a lunch.
