Chap Alert

HB 2758 requires that an institution of higher education, at the time a staff member begins employment, obtain a personal phone number or personal email address from the staff member to be used for emergency notification purposes and register the staff member in the institution's emergency alert system (Chap Alert). All employees will be automatically enrolled in the emergency notification system and may choose to opt-out by contacting the Marketing & Communications Office at (432) 685-4555.
