The Texas Employees Group Benefits Program (GBP) is administered by the Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS). Additional benefits include cancer, critical illness and hospital protection plans administered by AFLAC. State of Texas Vision Plan

HealthSelect of Texas does allow an annual eye exam but does not come with comprehensive vision care benefits. The State of Texas Vision plan includes low copays for eye exams, contact lenses fittings, frames, eyeglass lenses and contact lenses.
