Midland College hosts special program showcase for MISD 7th and 8th grade studentsOctober 05, 2022

Eighth-grade Midland ISD students will soon be choosing high school endorsements.  In order to assist them in making these important decisions, Midland College is hosting a special program showcase, specifically targeted for MISD 7th and 8th grade students.  

Students and their parents are invited to stop by the Midland College Advanced Technology Center (ATC) on the evening of Tuesday, October 11, and attend one of three sessions—5:30, 6:15 or 7:00 pm.  After an introduction, participants will be able to visit with teachers and other program personnel to learn about education, training and career opportunities.

“MC partners with MISD for many special programs that allow high school students to get hands-on training and college credit while they are in high school,” Courtney Fairchild, MC assistant director of Dual Credit, said.  “This event will allow students to learn more about these exciting opportunities.”
