This holiday season, after more than 30 years of dedicated service, Santa’s reindeer that grazed at the main Midland College entrance on Garfield Street are retiring from service to graze contently near the Hodge Carillon Tower on the main campus quadrangle area.  The reindeer will be able to enjoy their favorite holiday music and carols played from the tower.

“These reindeer have been a faithful group of magical animals bringing holiday joy to all who have driven by the campus,” Dr. Steve Thomas, Midland College President, said. “Now, they will be untethered from Santa’s sleigh and able to ‘roam free.’”

As always, this holiday season, Midland College welcomes the community to drive by the campus to view the lights on the buildings facing the quadrangle area and on the Hodge Carillon Tower.  The College also invites everyone to its Holiday Evening event on Thursday, December 2.
