GED Preparation CoursesMay 06, 2022

Course Description: GED Preparation courses prepare students to take all four portions of the GED Exam: Language Arts, Science, Math, and Social Studies.  Upon successful completion of the GED Exam, students will receive their Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency from the Texas Education Agency.

This course is FREE to students who sign up for GED classes at Midland College.  Students also receive a free study book.  In addition, students who qualify will receive a voucher to take all four portions of the GED Exam at no cost. 

Course Requirements: Students who are 17 or 18 years of age must have parent permission to sign up for GED Preparation courses.  Students under the age of 17 will have to have a court order and parent permission to participate. 

Students must fully complete a registration form.  Registration links for both the Spanish and English GED courses can be found on the MC GED website page.  Attendance is required for the class orientation. (Orientation date will be provided upon registration).

• Tuesdays & Thursdays, May 24th, 2022 to August 11th, 2022 – 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Tuesdays & Thursdays, May 24th, 2022 to August 11th, 2022 – 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Online Section: May 31st, 2022 to August 18th, 2022 (Students must meet live online with the instructor once per week on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
