Early College High School at Midland College (ECHS@MC) students sign academic letters of intentMay 05, 2022

On Friday, April 29, the senior class from Early College High School at Midland College (ECHS@MC) signed academic letters of intent to colleges and universities throughout the U.S, including the U.S. Airforce Academy, Cornell University and Hawaii Pacific University.  Students also declared their intent for institutions closer to home, such as Texas Tech University, University of Texas Permian Basin, Angelo State University and Sul Ross State University.

Even though ECHS@MC students have an opportunity to earn an associate degree from Midland College while attending high school, seven of these students will continue their studies at MC to complete specialty programs such as Nursing, Respiratory Care, Firefighting and Massage Therapy.  Congratulations to Katherine Abbott, Eva Aranda, Manuel Besares, Mariah Cardona, Kairi Montanez, Ariene Mota and Miranda Vargas who will now embark upon studies to prepare them for high-wage, in-demand careers.
