Midland College Student Government Association receives regional honorsMarch 27, 2018

On February 2 and 3, Midland College (MC) hosted the Region I Texas Junior College Student Government Association (TJCSGA) meeting in the Scharbauer Student Center Carrasco Room on the main MC campus.  Colleges represented were Amarillo College, El Paso Community College, Howard College, Midland College, Odessa College, South Plains College and Vernon College.  Student government association members from the seven Region I schools met for leadership training and networking during the weekend event.

At the meeting Midland College Student Government Association President Rebecca McAdoo was named Region I Student of the Year, and Midland College Student Activities Coordinator Taneekwa Hurdle was named Region I Advisor of the Year.

On April 5-8, Midland College Student Government Association members will attend the state TJCSGA convention in Austin.
