Don’t break those News Year’s resolutions to get fit and shed some pounds!  Starting February 14, Midland College (MC) can help everyone get ready for swimsuit season with fitness courses.  The MC Community Programs Continuing Education office offers several classes for all ages and fitness levels.

Fusion Foundation – A 30-minute class fusing Pilates, Yoga and Barre.  This progressive movement class will stretch sculpt and lengthen muscles.  February 14-April 1, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11:00-11:30 a.m., Cost = $35

Empower – A 45-minutes class designed to get heart rates up with Pilates-based cardio bursts.  Course focuses on high repetitions and isometric movements to build high muscular endurance.  February 14-March 31, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30-6:15 p.m., Cost = $45

Bootcamp 101 – An hour consisting of a variety of cardiovascular conditioning and strength training movements using body-weighted exercises and equipment.  March 14-May 11, Mondays and Wednesdays, 12:00 noon-1:00 p.m., Cost = $60

Pilates/Yoga/Stretching – An hour class that includes a series of exercises designed to incorporate a mind/body relationship to strengthen the entire body.  March 15-May 12, Tuesday and Thursdays, 12:00 noon-1:00 p.m., Cost = $60
