Midland College Winter Session December 18-January 3December 11, 2017

Approximately 1,000 students are enrolled in Midland College’s (MC) accelerated Winter Interim session, which runs December 18-January 3.  Registration deadline for Winter Interim classes is Friday, December 15. 

All Winter Interim courses are offered online through Midland College’s classroom management system entitled “Canvas.”  Students taking Winter Interim courses should refer to the Midland College website (www.midland.edu/canvas) for important information.

MC Administrative offices will be closed December 16 through January 1; however, the MC Bookstore will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Fridays.  The Bookstore will be closed on December 25, 26 and January 1.

All MC offices will re-open on Tuesday, January 2, at 8:00 a.m.  Midland College will be closed in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday on Monday, January 15, and spring semester classes begin on Tuesday, January 16.  Students who have not registered for spring semester classes should do so as soon as possible.  The MC Welcome Center located in the Scharbauer Student Center is open this week to assist first-time students with completing an application.

Spring semester scholarships are still available.  Students interested in receiving a scholarship should complete the short scholarship application located at www.midland.edu/scholarships
