TSI Information & Requirements
What is the TSI?
The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is a State mandated program designed to help students
be successful in college. It includes an assessment, Texas Success Initiative Assessment
(TSIA2), of students before entering a state-supported college or university advisement
and an individual plan designed to prepare students to meet college-readiness skills.
Am I Exempt?
Students pursuing a level 1 certificate are not required to test or provide scores.
Students may only take courses on their certificate plan. For additional information,
please check with your pathways advisor.
