PianoWorks Gallery Events is proud to present a FREE lecture presented by Kawai artist Yan Shen, DMA. The topic of her lecture is "How to Make a Successful Career Path in Music." Dr. Shen is an internationally recognized concert pianist, pedagogue and lecturer. She performs around the world and is currently based at the Moores School of Music, University of Houston. Her career began in Guangzhou, China, where she studied, and she is currently the Resident Artist of the Hong Kong Metropolitan Orchestra and Piano Faculty of the Hong Kong Interntaional Concerto/Ensemble Competition and Festival. Dr. Shen will also be performing a FREE recital at 7:30 p.m. with works by Bach Beethoven, Chopin and more.
