After entering the NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series with a 50-10 record, the Chaps arrived in Grand Junction carrying the confidence of a team that has spent all season proving itself one game at a time. On Tuesday, May 5, Midland College recognized Olivia Trischitti as the 2026 Chap Champion during its annual Honors Convocation, which celebrates outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and student success.
Students from Midland College earned multiple honors at the 2025 SkillsUSA District and State competitions, demonstrating their technical knowledge and hands-on skills across a variety of contests. At the district competition, Midland College students earned top finishes in automotive, diesel, and mechatronics events, with several advancing to the state level.
