Joanne Thames enjoys life and a rewarding career, thanks to a degree from MC and the inheritance of her father's work ethic.

Sixty-eight 3- and 4-year-olds zipped up their backpacks and headed to pre-kindergarten at the Pre-K Academy at Midland College (MC) this week. School officially started at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11.

After obtaining two associate degrees and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, former dual credit MC Automotive Technology student Anthony Cummins is back at the Advanced Technology Center teaching Energy Technology courses.

Janice Ford was one of the first students to take classes on the Midland College main campus and has continued to take advantage of MC's courses, professional development opportunities and cultural enrichment activities for over 40 years.
