Fundraiser for "Pink the Basin"October 03, 2018

The Midland College Cosmetology Department is again offering temporary pink hair extensions for $5 each through the month of October. All proceeds raised will go to Pink the Basin whose mission is to raise awareness of women’s health issues.

In Midland and Ector Counties, reports show that four out of five women over the age of 40 do not get a mammogram. Pink the Basin is dedicated to assisting those who either have no health care coverage or limited health insurance.

Extensions are available Tuesdays and Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Mondays and Wednesdays with an appointment. 

The MC Cosmetology Lab is located on the main Midland College campus in the Technology Center, Room 159.
