Midland College’s Holiday Evening is BACK! November 18, 2021

Find out if you’ve been naughty or nice at Midland College’s (MC’s) Holiday Evening, Thursday, Dec. 2 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. in the Allison Fine Arts Building. The FREE event includes visits and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus; a student art show and reception; and cheery, holiday performances by the MC Choir and Jazz Band. 

“We missed having this event last year because of COVID,” Rebecca Bell, executive director of Institutional Advancement said. “We love celebrating the holidays with the community and cannot wait to get back to this tradition. Santa is set to arrive from the North Pole. He and Mrs. Claus are very excited to see all the good boys and girls in Midland!” 

The community is invited to join in the fun starting with Santa & Mrs. Claus visits and pictures from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Children are invited to tell Mr. and Mrs. Claus what’s on their wish list. There will be complimentary cookies and hot chocolate for the whole family! 

Then from 7:00-9:00 p.m. all are welcome to browse the student art show and reception. You can score a unique holiday gift during the hallway art sale where you can buy creations from MC art students. Student vocalists will also start serenading guests with carols. 

Finally, at 7:30 p.m., sit down and enjoy a performance from the MC Music Programs (choir, vocalists, and jazz band). They will be performing holiday favorites in the Wagner & Brown Auditorium.
