Midland College has announced a new partnership with Milwaukee Tool that will bring professional-grade equipment and expanded training opportunities to students in the college’s energy technology programs.

Through a generous sponsorship, Milwaukee Tool has made a significant investment in tools, equipment, and packout systems for Midland College’s Energy Programs. As a result, every student training in these programs will now have hands-on access to Milwaukee tools while developing the skills needed for careers in the energy industry.

The partnership reflects Midland College’s continued commitment to delivering world-class technical training and building strong collaborations with industry leaders to prepare students for high-demand careers.

Milwaukee Tool has long been recognized as a leader in professional power tools across the construction, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. The company’s growing presence in the energy field aligns with Midland College’s forward-thinking approach to workforce development and its focus on preparing students to work with the technologies and equipment they will encounter in the field.

“Our goal is to provide students with training that mirrors real-world conditions as closely as possible,” said Erick Gutierrez, Department Chair of Energy and Technical Programs at Midland College. “We’re excited to welcome Milwaukee Tool as a partner in our energy programs. Partnerships like this allow us to continue raising the bar for technical training and workforce preparation.”

Midland College’s energy programs have earned national recognition for their innovative approach to workforce development. Students receive specialized training in areas such as field operations, automation, and natural gas compression, all critical components of the evolving energy sector.

“We’re grateful that Milwaukee Tool sees the vision and is taking this journey with us,” Gutierrez added. “This partnership will have a meaningful impact as we prepare the next generation of energy professionals.”
