Midland College is proud to announce that 54 Chaparral student-athletes have been recognized by the Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) for their academic achievements during the Spring 2025 semester.

These students were named to the WJCAC All-Academic First and Second Teams in recognition of their commitment to excellence in the classroom while competing at the highest levels of NJCAA athletics.

“Our student-athletes continue to demonstrate that academic and athletic success go hand in hand,” said MC Athletic Director Forrest Allen. “Balancing demanding travel schedules and training with the rigors of college coursework is no small task. These recognitions are a direct reflection of the work ethic, time management, and personal accountability that our athletes commit to every day. I couldn’t be more proud of how they represent Midland College.”

The WJCAC All-Academic honors are awarded to student-athletes who maintain a minimum GPA of 3.60 for First Team and 3.30–3.59 for Second Team during the semester.
