The Midland College Foundation and Midland Memorial Foundation will host the 2026 Estate Planning Seminar on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Carrasco Room of the Scharbauer Student Center at Midland College. Sponsored by the Midland Odessa Business and Estate Council (MOBEC), the seminar will bring together attorneys, accountants, certified financial planners and community members to explore estate-planning issues affecting families and businesses throughout the Permian Basin.

“Both foundations have a shared interest in helping people make informed decisions that will benefit their families and our community for years to come,” said Elizabeth Shydlowski, executive director of the Midland College Foundation. “We're grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Midland Memorial Foundation and MOBEC to bring this expertise to Midland. It's a great example of how collaboration allows us to offer something valuable to the community we all serve.”

The seminar will feature experienced professionals from across Texas and beyond, offering perspectives on both established estate-planning practices and emerging challenges.
