On Tuesday, November 7, Endeavor Energy Resources, Energy Services Trucking Division donated a tanker trailer to the Midland College (MC) Transportation Training department.  The equipment will be used in MC’s professional truck driving courses.

“As the oil and gas industry grows and evolves, it is important for Endeavor to give back to the community,” explained Simon Barr, Endeavor Energy Services manager.  “We hope that the donated tractor trailer will provide additional resources to Midland College’s truck driving program for teaching and training future truck drivers who will one day occupy our business units around the Permian Basin.  Properly trained CDL drivers make the roads safer for all Midland County residents.  By providing a tanker trailer for Midland College students to use, Energy Services Trucking Division wants to ensure they are trained with the equipment they will be using when they start their truck driving career.”

“We are very appreciative of this gift from Endeavor,” said Dale Beikirch, MC dean of Continuing Education.  “Professional truck driving programs, like the one at Midland College, are often a direct pipeline to employment, so it’s important for our students to be trained using equipment that they will likely encounter in their careers.”

MC and Endeavor Energy Resources also thank McMillan Welding & Fabrication for sandblasting and painting the trailer and ,TCI Coatings Inc. for donating the paint.
