![]() Midland College is proud to announce that all 23 graduates of the Spring 2026 Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Program passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN)
on their first attempt, achieving a 100% pass rate. The NCLEX-RN is the national licensure examination required to become a registered nurse. It serves as a critical measure of a graduate's readiness to provide safe and effective patient care. This outstanding achievement reflects the resilience, dedication, and hard work of Midland College's nursing students, as well as the exceptional commitment and expertise of the College's nursing faculty. "Achieving a 100% first-time pass rate is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the determination of our students and the quality of instruction they receive throughout the program," said Cindy Madewell, Dean of Health Sciences at Midland College. "Our faculty work tirelessly to ensure students are prepared not only for the NCLEX-RN, but for successful and meaningful careers in nursing." Through a combination of rigorous coursework, hands-on clinical experiences, simulation-based training, and personalized support, Midland College's ADN Program equips graduates with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to excel in today's health care environment. As these newly licensed registered nurses begin their careers, they are well prepared to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care while carrying forward Midland College's tradition of excellence in nursing education. "Health care organizations across the Permian Basin and beyond depend on well-prepared nurses to meet the growing needs of their communities," said Dr. Michael Dixon, Provost of Midland College. "We are incredibly proud of these graduates and grateful to our faculty for their commitment to student success." As these 23 graduates begin the next chapter of their journey, they do so with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make an immediate impact in hospitals, clinics, and health care facilities across the region. Midland College is proud to celebrate their achievement and looks forward to the difference they will make in the lives of the patients and communities they serve. |
