Sometimes it’s hard juggling college, family and careers, and Midland College wants to help.  Starting Saturday, March 26, Midland College Psychology Professor Jay Schwarz will teach General Psychology (PSYC 2301) on Saturdays from 9:00-11:50 a.m.  The course lasts for just eight weeks, and students can earn 3 hours credit.  Schwarz will teach the course in a hybrid format combining traditional classroom lectures and discussion with online coursework.

“Many of our students aren't just students—they're employees, caregivers and so much more,” Schwarz said.  “Midland College attempts to meet the needs of various demographics of students, and a Saturday course blended with an online component may be the answer.  Most degree plans require that students take a psychology course, so we are offering this course to help meet those requirements.”

New students can contact the Midland College Outreach and Navigation Office via email or phone, (432) 685-4501, for more information and to apply/register.  Current Midland College students can register via their student portal.
