Midland College is celebrating another year of exceptional achievement in nursing education, with 2025 NCLEX results demonstrating continued excellence across both the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) and Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) programs.

The NCLEX is the national standardized licensure exam required for entry into professional nursing practice, measuring the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for safe and effective care.

The LVN program achieved a perfect 100% pass rate on the NCLEX-PN, outperforming both the national average of 88.38% and the Texas average of 93.26%. This milestone reflects the program’s ongoing commitment to preparing highly skilled, practice-ready nurses for the workforce.

The ADN program also delivered outstanding results, earning a 95.24% NCLEX-RN pass rate, exceeding the national average of 91.16% and the Texas average of 92.76%.

“These results speak volumes about the strength of our nursing programs and the dedication of our students,” said Cindy Madewell, Dean of Health Sciences at Midland College. “Our faculty are deeply committed to providing rigorous, hands-on learning experiences that prepare students not just to pass the NCLEX, but to thrive as confident, compassionate nurses in real-world settings.”

Midland College’s nursing programs continue to build a strong pipeline of health care professionals equipped to meet the needs of the Permian Basin and beyond. Through a blend of clinical experience, classroom instruction, and state-of-the-art training, students are supported every step of the way toward licensure and long-term career success.

“At Midland College, we are proud to play a vital role in strengthening the health care workforce across our region,” said Michael Dixon, Midland College Provost. “These results reinforce our commitment to academic excellence and to ensuring our graduates are fully prepared to meet the demands of an evolving health care landscape.”

As Midland College continues its tradition of excellence in health sciences education, these 2025 NCLEX pass rates underscore the institution’s unwavering focus on student success, workforce readiness, and community impact.
