Student Support Services Getting Started
The first step in applying to our program is to determine your eligibility.
If you can answer "yes" to any of the criteria to the right then you can apply by coming by our office, which has moved to Room 129 of the Scharbauer Student Center, for an application. The application will take about 30 minutes to complete.
Next, you will be notified of your acceptance, placement on the waiting list or denial.
If you are accepted, we will set up an entrance interview where we will go through the requirements of the program and set your IDP (Individual Development Program)
All applicants must be citizens or
residents of the United States
Students must meet ONE of the following three criteria:
1) TRiO defined income guidelines
2) First generation college students (neither parent has a four year college degree)

"To receive assistance, students must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a program of post-secondary education at a grantee institution. Low income students who are first generation students and students with disabilities evidencing academic need are eligible to participate in SSS projects. Two-thirds of the participants in SSS must be either disabled or potential first-generation college students from low-income families. One-third of the disabled participants must also be low-income students"
