Student Life Health & Wellness
The mission of Midland College Health and Wellness Program is to promote a campus environment supportive of the development and maintenance of a healthy mind, body and spirit for all members of the Midland College community. The Program is designed to:
• promote a quality student-centered health education program
• communicate information regarding health initiatives which empower students to make informed choices about their health and well-being
• increase awareness and provide programs, services, support and opportunities to promote a positive day-to-day approach to life
Midland College does not offer health care services onsite; however, we do provide information regarding a variety of services and insurance plans available to students. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain coverage where required. Come by the Student Life office, room 122 in the Scharbauer Student Center, for a list of insurance plans and other health service information.
For students who live on campus, Midland College has an arrangement with:
Premier Family Care
They are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Students must call and set up an appointment and present the new Midland College ID card, as well as the Midland College Medical Form found at the front desk of your Residence Hall. Their will be a $20.00 co-pay, and students will have to cover the cost of medication if necessary.
