a mcvm sealThis 2+2 Articulation Agreement will serve to facilitate the admission and academic transfer of students from Midland College into the Biomedical Science Program (BIMS) at Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine. As Midland College students progress successfully toward the completion of the Associate degree, this articulation agreement will ensure the seamless transition of MC students into the A&M program according to the provisions and conditions of the agreement.

Biomedical Science is the broad field of applied biology related to health and disease. A degree in biomedical science provides you the foundation for applying to medical, dental, veterinary, pharmacy and physical therapy schools.

 1. Midland College students who complete the degree plan, as full time students will be admitted to the BIMS program automatically provided they meet all other general admission requirements (transcripts, applications, timelines, etc.) to Texas A&M University.

 2. Students must have maintained no less than a 3.60 GPA in the courses taken at Midland College and will have completed the 72 hours of transferable course work on the degree plan.

 3. Students must not have made any grade below a "B" in all of their Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) science and math coursework.
