Dian  WhiteDepartment Chair, Nursing - Associate Degree

On her way to becoming the Chair of the Nursing-Associate Degree program, Dian taught obstetrics (OB). She chose to work in 'Labor and Delivery' because, when she had her first daughter, she had a horrible experience and was scared to death. As a nurse in Labor and Delivery, she was able to help her patients enjoy the birth experience. In OB, she could teach student nurses to provide care and comfort to their patients, both the parents and their new child.

She loves to travel and expose her grandson to everything he can see and do in the 50 states (national parks, mountains, horseback riding at a dude ranch, famous cities, history). She plays the piano and likes to paint. Her favorite vacation spot is Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies in Banff National Park.
