Creative Writing Workshop: Poetry Tuesday, March 03, 2020

The MC Language Hub is partnering with Creative Writing Associate Professor Brendan Egan to present a FREE workshop that covers using short poetic forms to find ideas for poems, using the language of senses to create memorable images and learning how sounds of language can make poetry more meaningful and fun. Students will complete one draft of a poem, learn about the Hilda Simmons Levitt Poetry Contest and find out about other opportunities for creative writing courses and scholarships at MC.
