Midland College Phi Theta Kappa hosts town hall meeting Subject: MISD School Bond Each year Midland College (MC) Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society members vote on an annual project. This year, members chose to focus on ways that they can impact public education in Midland. Part of this effort will concentrate on promoting a college-going culture among junior high students; however, Phi Theta Kappa members also want to help Midland residents learn more about the upcoming Midland ISD school bond election. The MC Phi Theta Kappa organization will host a town hall meeting on Tuesday, October 8 in the Scharbauer Student Center Carrasco Room located on the main Midland College campus. During the meeting, Christine Foreman and Dave Joyner from the We Choose Our Future Committee will discuss the upcoming bond election. The public will be able to ask questions during the meeting.
