The F. Marie Hall SimLife Center at Midland College is named in honor and appreciation of F. Marie Hall. Her generous philanthropy and steadfast dedication have provided state-of-the-art educational opportunities for the citizens of West Texas. This Center is an educational and clinical laboratory providing quality, safe and innovative instruction and patient care.
A unique venture uniting area colleges and medical centers led to the creation of a state-of-the-art simulation center on the Midland College campus. The F. Marie Hall SimLife Center is equipped with the Laerdal Company's SimMan and SimBaby mannequins, Gaumard Noell birthing simulator, recording devices and healthcare equipment, and will be used for training of students in a variety of medical fields, and health care professionals.
Programming at the F. Marie Hall SimLife Center at Midland College includes partnerships with Midland Memorial Hospital and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at the Permian Basin. Practicing physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals use the center's facilities routinely.
