Welcome to the Home Page of Will Morris

I  am William (Will) G. Morris, Ph.D., professor of History and Chairman of the Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences and Education Studies at Midland College.  I also serve as Co-Director of the Honors Program with Donna Thompson, Ph.D., professor of Psychology.  My office is room 141 in the Allison Fine Arts Building; telephone: 432.685.4641; fax: 432.685.4769; email: wmorris@midland.edu.

I teach primarily World Civilizations I and World Civilizations II and the History of Christianity; some times also the U.S. History to 1877 and Since 1877 classes.  Also I am a volunteer teacher in the College Classics program.

I received my BA (1965) in both History and English and my MA (1967) in History from the University of Colorado-Boulder.   My doctorate in History is from the University of Texas-Austin (1974).
