The A.R.R.T.:

Radiographers are certified nationally by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.  The A.R.R.T. is located at 1255 Northland Drive, St. Paul, Minnesota, 55120-1155, Phone: (651) 687-0048.  The exams administered by the A.R.R.T. are recognized nationally and internationally. 

The A.R.R.T. offers certification exams for diagnostic radiography, computed tomography, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging, cardiovascular interventional radiography, sonography, nuclear medicine, and radiation therapy as well as for subspecialties of radiography such as mammography and quality assurance.

The Medical Radiologic Technologist Board, Texas Department of Health:

The Radiography Program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology, 20 N Wacker Drive, Suite 800, Chicago, IL  60606-xxxx, phone. The program is also reviewed through the accreditation of Midland College by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097; phone number 404-679-4501), and the Texas Coordinating Board for Higher Education.
