Mesa Air Group is the fourth largest regional airline in the U.S. with 3,000 employees and one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world. Mesa is rapidly moving to be "all jet" as it grows, and currently operates 116 aircraft with 832 daily system departures to 153 cities, 38 states, Canada and Mexico.

For several years, to accommodate its growing operations, Mesa has hired nearly 500 new pilots annually. Midland College works closely with Mesa Air Group Pilot Development. Midland College pilot trainees begin learning Mesa Air Group standards and proceedures on first day of classes. Upon successful completion of the Midland College Pilot training four semester Program, students advance to Mesa Pilot Development for fifth semester turbine training.
