Mesa
Air Group is the fourth largest regional airline in the U.S. with
3,000 employees and one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world.
Mesa is rapidly moving to be "all jet" as it grows, and currently
operates 116 aircraft with 832 daily system departures to 153 cities,
38 states, Canada and Mexico.

several years, to accommodate its growing operations, Mesa has hired
nearly 500 new pilots annually. Midland
College works closely with Mesa
Air Group Pilot Development. Midland College pilot trainees
begin learning Mesa Air Group standards and proceedures on first
day of classes. Upon successful completion of the Midland College Pilot training
four semester Program, students advance to Mesa Pilot Development
for fifth semester turbine training. |

Mesa
Airlines operates in various parts of the United States as America West
Express, US Airways Express, and Midwest Express. Mesa will also begin
code-sharing with Frontier Airlines out of Denver in the first quarter
of 2002.
