The Midland College Pilot Training Program prepares students for employment as a First Officer with the Regional Airlines. The program has specialized admission requirements due to the Federal Aviation Regulations and the cost of flight training. For the associate degree program students will complete a rigorous five semester program culminating with an Associates Degree in Applied Science – Professional Pilot. Each student will obtain the following pilot licenses and ratings: Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, Instrument rating and Multi-Engine rating. Upon completion of this program each student will have the opportunity to receive Jet Simulator Training with Mesa Airlines or Air Transport Professionals (ATP). This training will have you prepared for an interview with a Regional Airline. An optional course study will permit students to obtain a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate if they desire. Other courses of study include tailored training programs in transition and recurrent training.

This Associate Degree will feed into the Bachelor of Applied Technology Degree program at Midland College, you can complete the Bachelors Degree online.

Information regarding applying to the program, registration, financial aid, courses and THEA requirements may obtained in the current Midland College catalog.  More information on the Professional Pilot program may be obtained by filling out the Online Form or contacting:
