Thomas W. Branon received his private pilot certificate in 1967. He was an Air Crewman and Aviation Electrician in the U.S. Coast Guard from August, 1970 till August, 1976. His interest in aviation continued through the years, working part-time on aircraft. He attended the Midland College Aviation maintenance School, and graduated in the summer of 2004. He has been an instructor and director of the program at MC to the present day.
Ricardo Hernandez began his career in aviation by attending the Midland College AMT program in the fall of 2003 and the spring of 2004. He received his A&P license in 2004. He worked as an A&P mechanic from 2004 until 2008, when he came on board with the Midland College Aviation Maintenance Technology Program.
Lloyd E. Muñoz graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics and became an A&P mechanic in March, 1969. He has been an aircraft mechanic for over forty years. He taught at Eastern New Mexico University as an A&P instructor for one year. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and began teaching at Midland College's AMT program in 2007.
James E. Radtke began flying when he was 16 years old, and received his private pilot license when he was 17. He continued to pursue a career in aviation, , earning licenses and type-ratings in several different aircraft. He received his A&P license thirty years ago, and early on worked as an A&P mechanic and pilot. He retired from corporate flying in 2005, with 14,000 hours.
Randy Ray is a seasoned educator/instructor with over eighteen years' experience in the field of education, and a total of fifteen years of direct aviation education experience. He has managed technical and leadership training programs for major aviation manufacturing, overhaul and repair facilities. He also has extensive experience with FAA Part 147 schools.
Jody Tayrien is the clerk for the Aviation Department. She joined the staff of Midland College in November, 2005.
