Program
Costs
The
costs for the courses will vary depending on how many classes
a student takes each semester. Usually a student working towards
the certificate program will take two classes per semester.
The first semester will be the most expensive. The two beginning
classes are prerequisites for all the other classes. There is
a textbook and lab manual necessary for the HART1407 class and
a textbook for the HART 1401 class. Once these textbooks have
been purchased, they can be used in seven of the eight couses
available. The HART 2445 class requires an additional text.
The following schedule is an approximate cost for an in-district
student taking two classes. Out-of-district students will need
to add an additional $40 total for the same two classes. The
cost for the Associate of Applied Science degree will vary greatly
depending on how many and which classes the student takes each
semester. You can go to the Midland College web site at www.midland.edu
and check for tuition and fees.
The
first semester classes, HART 1407 and HART 1401, with books
and lab fees will cost approximately $620.
The
remaining semesters will cost approximately $400 for each semester
if a student takes two classes each semester.
The
total cost for all eight classes should be less than $2000.
This obviously does not include housing. Midland College does
have on campus housing available. Please check the Midland College
website at www.midland.edu
for more information.
Financial
assistance may be obtained for the tuition, fees, and books
portion of the educational costs. For more information on financial
