Dollars for Scholars

Our students attending Midland College Williams Regional Technical Training Center here in Fort Stockton currently do not have a scholarship program available to meet their financial needs. This is keeping many from attending and it is critical that we all pull together as a community toward making sure that all our children in Fort Stockton can afford the opportunity for a higher education.

In working with the Abell-Hanger Foundation, they have issued a challenge to match $10,000.00 in funds raised by the community for a Fort Stockton "Dollars for Scholars" scholarship fund.  These matching dollars would certainly provide the community with a strong start up incentive to participate in a local scholarship fund and help our local pledges.

Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution in the form of payroll or checking account deduction in the amount of $5.00, $10.00, or $20.00 per month. One-time donations are also appreciated.

Please complete the information below and return this letter to your campaign contact or if applicable, your payroll department.  Any contribution or support toward this scholarship fund is greatly appreciated. With each of us contributing something to this worthy cause our youth will surely benefit.
