Participants in the 2013 event got an up-close look at the campus and stopped by tables staffed
by MC employees to get informationon college admissions and various MC programs

Three half-hour tours, described below, will be provided at 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. Take the opportunity to take these tours at a fun and family friendly event.

Tour of the Campus

Summary: A half-hour tour of the Allison Fine Arts Building, F. Marie Hall Academic Building, Physical Education Building and Abell-Hanger Science Faculty Building. Points of interest during the tour will include the Helen L. Greathouse Children’s Center, Scharbauer Student Center, and Early College High School.

Location: Meet at Beal Plaza fountain (red flag)

Tour Giver/Presenter: Midland College Regents (students)

Tour of the SimLife Center

Summary: Midland College has a state of the art simulated hospital on campus! Come see what it means to “be” the nurse, the respiratory therapist, the sonographer, or the EMT/paramedic. At the SimLife Center, students feel like they are the real thing in this simulated environment. Come interact with our “patients.”

Location: Meet at Beal Plaza fountain (red flag)

Tour of Dining Hall and Dorm

Summary: Home away from home or mi casa es su casa. Come learn what it means to live on the Midland College campus. Receive a tour of a room in one of our residence halls.

Location: Meet at Beal Plaza fountain (red flag)
