The Midland College University Center offers students multiple options for either beginning or completing their education. Programs and courses are now offered by five universities:  Texas Tech University, the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, Sul Ross State University, Howard Payne University and Western Governors University.

A total of 1 master's degrees and 11 bachelor's degree, plus Midland College's Bachelor of Applied Technology in Organizational Management and 2 teacher certification programs, are now offered on the Midland College campus. Additionally, Western Governors University, an accredited, non-profit online university, offers Midland College students and graduates savings on all of its online baccalaureate and master degree programs.

These programs and courses are taught at the junior, senior, and graduate level, and complement and enhance Midland College offerings. Midland College also provides the capacity to deliver instruction electronically to its many distance learning sites in the West Texas region.

Midland College has separate agreements with each institution that provide funding for classroom utilization and maintenance. Midland College provides parking, security, library, and other student services. Students enroll with their respective partner institutions and are bound by their policies, as well as the policies of Midland College. Financial aid is available and applications should be submitted directly to the partner institution.

Midland College is pleased to administer, coordinate, and support a unified effort to respond to changing and evolving student needs. Institutions of higher education that are interested in this kind of collaboration are invited to contact the Midland College University Center at (432) 685-6829.
