For many students at Midland College, the importance of scholarships and financial aid cannot be overstated. Financial Aid at Midland College is intended to help students and their families pay for the costs associated with obtaining their goal of a college education.
To apply for any Midland College scholarship, fill out the Midland College's Scholarship Application.
The Midland College Ambassador Program is looking for you! MC Ambassadors are actively involved in campus activities. They attend sporting events, lecture events, and performing arts programs; promote campus leadership; and meet new people. Their duties include volunteering for campus events, gaining leadership skills, and having a great time while promoting Midland College
Midland's Legacy Scholarship Program is built on the legacy left by three great Midland families -- George and Gladys Abell, Barney and Helen Greathouse, and J. Harvey and Harriet Herd -- who invested their time and resources to help build a community. The philosophy of these six community builders will ensure that graduates of Midland County high schools will be able to continue to take advantage of an education at Midland College
Midland College Students in Philanthropy is an educational leadership program designed to increase an awareness of the value and importance of service to the community through philanthropy. Midland College Students in Philanthropy provides a structured program designed to educate, support and promote philanthropic leadership in the community.
The MC High School Counselor’s Recommendation Scholarship was established to help the
high school counselors select a student who they feel is deserving but may not be receiving
other scholarship aid.
The Charles, Lela and Mary Slough Foundation Scholarship was established to help needy Texas students attend college. In an agreement with Bank of America, Midland College reviews and recommends the scholarships for Texas residents entering or enrolled in any college or university in the United States. The Slough Scholarship awards up to $5,000 per year ($2,500 per Fall and Spring semesters) for a total of 5 years or the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree, or a total accumulation of 136 semester hours or 36 credits, whichever comes first. Smaller amounts may be awarded on a one-time basis with no guarantee of future awards. All applications must be submitted online ONLY. Please click link below to access application.
